Delusional or hopeful?
“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” Oh, it is so tough to walk away from the fine line of turning hope into delusion. The most commonly used phrase in the present day is “delulu is the solulu” but, is it? Well, it is not, but can lead to a high level of confidence and hope. Well, the question is how? Try to remember the incident when you thought you could ace the exam by studying all night over one run through with the syllabus, it motivated you to study and you did which led to acing the test. Then, when you thought you could confidently ask your crush out by writing a letter with your beautiful handwriting and it will make the person fall for you and it does work out but damn, only for a moment. And, when you confidently tell your teacher she is wrong, thinking she will appreciate you in front of everyone but it does not help and leads to you making a fool of yourself, well, that is how the fine line works.
