I don’t feel motivated….

"You will not always be motivated, therefore you have to consistent"

You have an assignment due tomorrow but you don’t feel like doing the work for it or maybe you have a presentation to submit in the office urgently or even if you have been told to clean the room and you keep delaying it all because you just don’t feel motivated enough. You just don’t get the time or even the mood to do it or you just keep panicking on how to get it done and then keep delaying and panicking and the cycle goes on… So how to come out of this loop?

What exactly does the motivation cycle look like?

There are four steps to this ongoing process:

Require: a condition or deficiency of a necessary item

Drive: The motivation needed to act in order to satisfy a requirement

Motivator: Both internal and external variables can affect drives.

Reward: The last phase of the cycle, at which the individual accomplishes their objective

And we focus on reward, like giving ourselves a condition that if we complete a task, we can reward ourselves with something small which can motivate us further to do more things. At the same time, we can also find ways to cut down on certain things when we are not able to complete your tasks which can help us get some motivation to get things done in order to get something back to us. This can be helpful in keeping ourselves motivated but if it continues for a longer run, then you might get yourself an appointment with a professional.
