Distance makes the heart grow fonder

"If you really love something let it go. If it comes back to you, its your's. If it doesn't, then it never was."

It is so difficult to live far away from someone when they are so close to your heart. You try to share every possible thing in your life with them from scratch and even try to stay in contact with them throughout the day but you know what is beautiful? The feeling that knowing someone is there for you. It feels good to be present in some way but after a point, there comes a time when you stop being around your actual space and start being there and make the relationship a little unhealthy in ways you cannot imagine. And what do you do at such times? Well, you work your way through to make it a healthy relationship; be it with family, friends or your partner.

You can do some things for your own benefit, here are some steps:

  • Start having a personal space for your thoughts and hobbies

  • Share the details of present even after it is completed, so that you live the moment

  • After having busy hectic days, remember to rest rather than having half hearted communication

  • Remind yourself that you are an individual first and then a person with relationships

  • Sharing is important but listening can often save relationships

I hope this makes some difference and makes things work for you and help you build small ways to a healthy relationship. Remember, your relationship is important but it cannot work well unless you are stable and clear yourself.
