You are so sensitive

Since when did being sad become a bad thing? It is so human to have feelings and express them, then when did we come up with the idea of it being bad? Let me tell you something super interesting, humans are born to feel and it is natural to have emotions and it is even helpful to express it! WOAHHH, who would have thought right? But it is true. It is so fortunate that we have the ability to understand, acknowledge and even express emotions. Sometimes, we feel a lot of nothing at all but this one is for the ones who tend to feel a “lot” as per others but there does not seem to be a way to have it in limit.
It is not that having feelings are wrong or being sensitive is right, it is just that there can only be certain people we feel safe to express feelings with or even certain places or situations where it is helpful to express it. So, if you tend to develop strong feelings towards a situation, maybe try to understand if it is the place where it is helpful to express or even if it will be acknowledged. You can always come back to your feelings and express it in a different place with people who might understand. If a situation arises, where you do not have anyone to express your emotions with then you can go to writing down your feelings, where it goes a long way getting more clarity or even finding better words to express feelings coherently.
Understanding one’s feelings is very important so that you understand the intensity of it, the situation it can cause or even understand what triggered those emotions. You can also find alternative ways to express yourself, like singing your lungs out, getting into a cleaning spree till your head is clear or even walking with those thoughts in a garden. It is okay to have emotions triggering at any point in your life. You can only find ways to express it in a way that can help you recognize it better and find healthier ways to convey it.
