You don't care

"When people cared about each other, they always found a way to make it work"

A sentence you might have heard often from your loved one’s, but never quite understood. I mean, what does even care mean to people? How do you understand if the way you care is the same as how the other person perceives it? But guess what, that is what needs to be understood. You just need to understand first, what does caring mean and then understand how you express it to your people. It can save a lot of relationships if you try to understand what it means to care and how it can make a difference in relationships.

First, you need to understand what caring means. It means to feel the need to make an effort for someone because they mean that much to you. You might even go out of your way to do something which might make the person feel they are cared for and they do have an importance in your life. They should know that their existence in your life makes a difference. Now, let us try to understand, how can we care for a person specifically the way they would feel special. It is simple, try to understand what makes them happy, what comforts them and what lightens up their mood. These small observations can go a long way in their life and bring about a difference and make them feel special, in a way that only you can do for them.

Caring for someone does not involve big surprises or gestures, it is just trying to understand the importance a person holds in your life and how much you can understand the most mundane things in their life and be with them through it. It is not about trying to not complain or adjust, it is making peace with things and also making a difference to shift moods rather than changing a person. If your efforts are helpful enough, the changes will occur automatically, in a healthier manner.
