Adulting is confusing

“With great power comes great responsibility”

Remember the time when we used to say, “Oh I can't wait to be an adult, I can make my own decisions!” And what did we not think through? That with freedom, there is also responsibility. We can make our own decisions but we also need to see the consequences of it. Now our decisions are not just for us or might be for short term but in fact, it can lead to long term effects in our life. I do not mean to scare you or remind you of the aftermath but I am here to help you find ways to be better at managing. I mean, we cannot stop being an adult or just let things be as they are. We make it work, that is the fun part about it.

For starters, learn to prioritize things in your life to better understand what is more important and needs to be done immediately. For example, having a healthy breakfast daily can lead to long term benefits and also keep your immune system strong; on the contrary, chilling every weekend by drinking an unhealthy amount or eating unhealthy amounts of junk food might not be the most helpful decision. Yes, it is important to enjoy life but not at the expense of long term damage.  And another major important point, focusing on doing one thing at a time in a proper manner rather than doing multiple things but messing it up here and there. It is amazing to know everything but it is even better to be good at even one thing you do. And last but not the least, prioritizing people that help you grow over people who waste your time. It might not seem relevant but having a flourishing company can make a difference in the way you spend time and bring about the joy and progress you might not have imagined.

The idea of being responsible doesn't mean you do not enjoy, it simply means you make better choices for yourself so that it does not harm your future, let alone bring anything better. Hope this helps.
