I am thankful
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."
There are too many times in our lives when we do not think twice before complaining. But how many times have you actually felt thankful? Like the time when you finally got to meet that person after so long or even seeing your loved one succeed or seeing your favourite team win after ages of wait. You know, like being paid off with happiness after years of patience and it makes you feel an immense level of gratefulness.
Then there are times when you feel that you could drown in your sorrow. You don't remember how to feel better or even remember any good things. But these are times when you should remember these happy moments. This is when you need it the most. And that is what can help you feel better. I know, it's the most difficult thing to remember the happy days when you can barely make sense of what is happening but your memory will help you bring a spark of joy.
And I hope, on days when things get too tough you remember to smile. You remember the days when everything felt much better. The moments when you knew, it can get better and you saw yourself coming out of pain. I really wish you remember that happiness exists and it isn't so far away and will be coming closer soon.
