Why would anyone care for me?

Oh, dear. The world does care for you. How do you think you think you were born? All the stars aligned on a specific day for you to come to this earth, after many wishes, with lots of love and patience, you were born. And you know, it does seem at times that why are people doing anything for you, they must be having some expectations of you or intention, well let me tell you, intention will be there and it might be super nice too. It is not something bad, but instead the person would actually care for you. And, of course, it does. 


I know, being deprived of love for too long might make you feel it is not with something out of love but rather an action. But let me tell you. It will not always look like something out of the way but something as simple as being there for you or even bringing you your coffee. And on some days, it must be just love. It is on these days you realize that you are not alone and love exists around you as well.


A gentle reminder, when this love comes to you, remember to accept it and not run away from it. You can always figure out what it meant and how to give it back. But for now, rest and live this moment. You waited for this all your life and here it is, in the softest form and in the kindest stages and on days you need it the most. May you learn to accept the care you keep giving everywhere else.

I hate myself

 "True self-care is not bath salts and chocolate cake, it's making the choice to build a life you don't need to escape from." Well, as much as I feel sad saying this, it is a very commonly spoken statement. And let me tell you, it has never helped anyone be better but rather makes you feel more low about yourself. And no, depreciating yourself as a form of motivation does not work, it makes a pattern in your head which is super unhelpful. No, it is not okay to eat unhealthy for days thinking its a form of self love, it is not okay to feed negative thoughts to your mind, it is not okay to drink too much and feel the pain is subsiding, it is not okay to drown in sad thoughts either calling it a part of life and it is not even slightly okay to have anger fits and then sit in guilt.  I am not saying it does not happen, all I am saying is that it is not helping you love or even accept yourself and just making things more unhealthy for you. “Actions speak louder than words” The promises that we make to people are never ending. We will be there for each other; we are in love, nothing can change it or even no power can separate us. Yes, very valid and so supportive but are these only words or shown in action too? That is where the real question lies. We do show our support through words and say so many things but how much we actually work on it, that makes a difference. And you know, it gets disappointing to only hear words and not see it in action because why would you say it if you cannot do it! The way out in this is very simple, say what can be done by you. Do not make promises out of your capacity. It is okay to be there without saying it, it is okay to not buy the fanciest thing when you know the last thing you can do is pluck a flower and it is absolutely fine to not go out of the way to get things done when it is not leading to happiness for either of you.
