I don’t feel motivated….

"You will not always be motivated, therefore you have to consistent" You have an assignment due tomorrow but you don’t feel like doing the work for it or maybe you have a presentation to submit in the office urgently or even if you have been told to clean the room and you keep delaying it all because you just don’t feel motivated enough. You just don’t get the time or even the mood to do it or you just keep panicking on how to get it done and then keep delaying and panicking and the cycle goes on… So how to come out of this loop?  What exactly does the motivation cycle look like? “Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.” There are so many instances where we are constantly scared of making the next big mistake. We might have made one mistake which goes around with us in different places and areas of life. It was once but the consequences were so big that we could not let it go and now they are just haunting us in even the slightest of errors and thus the problems that never existed, starts to bother us. And, it even irks us so often that even the most mundane tasks get ruined. And we also remember the criticism that we received and still receive over that mistake. There is so much to do

“Taking a break can lead to breakthroughs.” There might have been times where you felt that there is so much work that needed to be done but you just couldn’t get anything done because you were feeling overwhelmed. So what do you do in such situations? Procrastinate? Avoid working? Go to sleep? Feel frustrated and just leave the work space? Or just ignore the work? Well, how about a solution to actually get things done without losing your mind?  Here are some tips that can help you feel better: Take a rest - Take a brief break from your work to decompress and rejuvenate yourself.
