Jaate nahi kahi rishte purane, kisi naye ke aa jane se

Image
"Rishte naye ho ya purane, haq jatane se nahi rehte, nibhane se bante hai"  Itna aasaan hai ye bolna, ki jaane do, ab naye raste chal rahe hai hum, puraane logon ko kyu rakhna. Par vo nahi hote toh shayad hum yaha tak nahi aa paate. Humein aadat hai, logo kp bhul jaane dene ki, aasan hai. Ab nayi jagah jayege toh naye log milenge aur nayi dosti hogi toh jayaz hai, ki hamare dhyaan se nikal jaaye. Par kya vo yaadein, vo log, vo rishte kabhi maayine nahi rakhte the? Zarur the, isiliye ye padhte waqt vo yaad aa gaye aur vo saare bitaye pal mann mein chale jaa rahe hai. Par sabse acchi baat pata hai kya hai? Vo rishte bhale hi khatam ho gaye ho, vo insaan ab bhi kahi na kahi juda hai. Aur hum kabhi na kabhi wapas mulaqat kar sakte hai ya sirf baat bhi kaafi hai. Ek cheez ka dhyan rakhna zaroori hai ki sab rishte vapas milne layak nahi hote, kuch rishtey jinse humein takleef hui hai vo sirf yaadon tak rakh kar chod dena chahiye.  Ab aate hai inn naye rishton par. Adulting is confusing

Image
“With great power comes great responsibility” Remember the time when we used to say, “Oh I can't wait to be an adult, I can make my own decisions!” And what did we not think through? That with freedom, there is also responsibility. We can make our own decisions but we also need to see the consequences of it. Now our decisions are not just for us or might be for short term but in fact, it can lead to long term effects in our life. I do not mean to scare you or remind you of the aftermath but I am here to help you find ways to be better at managing. I mean, we cannot stop being an adult or just let things be as they are. We make it work, that is the fun part about it.  For starters, learn to prioritize things in your life to better understand what is more important and needs to be done immediately. For example, having a healthy breakfast daily can lead to long term benefits and also keep your immune system strong; on the contrary, chilling every weekend by drinking an unhealthy...

Everything is changing so fast

Image
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” It is so frustrating to see everything turning into something entirely different than you thought of it to be. I know it is normal that things change but why is it necessary? It takes a lot of courage and time to accept that things have changed and come to terms with it and then suddenly it happens that you have to outgrow that feeling as well. We should try to understand why it is necessary and at the same time how we can accept it. But how? It is easier said than done to accept. So what do we do?  Well, we first learn to mourn or grieve or even feel sad about the things that existed and have been a very important part of life.  It is a part of life for people and things to come and go so we need to acknowledge it. Then comes the part where we try to understand how to go about the new change in our lives.  We find out what exactly is happening and why it is requir...

How do I manage both?

Image
"There's no such thing as work-life balance. There are work-life choices, and you make them, and they have consequences" As you all have been going through a phase of balancing your job as well as festivals around the corner, you might have had this dilemma on how to manage both and it might feel tough balancing both. But guess what can help? Come on, not every time will I give an immediate answer,, you can at least try to guess once.  So balance is the obvious answer but how to, is the follow up question. I mean, why do we even have to work during festive seasons, but our work culture is very different from the culture we are a part of and thus, we need to manage both. It is absolutely clear to us that we cannot change the system as of now, since we are employees but what we can do is try to find ways to give our best and at the same time not lose or feel out of place. It is only natural to feel unsteady at such times. Well, we can always find out our way out of it (and ...
